Our Locations
Scugog Island, Port Perry
Our original office is located on the beautiful lands of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, in Port Perry Ontario. As an Indigenous-owned psychotherapy practice, this location reflects the heart of who we are and our commitment to creating a space where everyone feels welcomed while honouring the history of the land on which we practice.
This location is home to the Owner and Co-Director, Jesse Dale, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), whose practice has become known for supporting adolescent boys, young men, and adult men who never saw themselves going to therapy.
Many men are taught to push through stress, keep emotions to themselves, or believe they should be able to handle everything on their own. Over time, that pressure can show up as anxiety, anger, burnout, relationship difficulties, emotional numbness, or simply feeling stuck.
Jesse's approach is different. Therapy doesn't have to feel formal or uncomfortable. Conversations are genuine, down-to-earth, and focused on helping clients understand themselves while building practical tools they can use in everyday life.

Many of our clients tell us they delayed starting therapy because they thought they had to be in crisis before asking for help.
You don't.
Sometimes therapy is simply about having someone in your corner while learning practical strategies to manage anxiety, navigate change, and build confidence for whatever comes next.
Whether you're looking for a teen therapist in Oshawa, anxiety therapy in Oshawa, college student counselling, or young adult psychotherapy, the Aazhaway Office was created to support you through these important years.
Aazhaway Office, Oshawa
Therapy for Teens & Young Adults in Oshawa
As our practice continued to grow, we offered a second office space to provide clients greater availability and flexibility.
We chose the name “Aazhaway” for our second location, inspired by the Ojibwe word from which the name Oshawa was derived, meaning "the crossing place." We chose this name to honour the Indigenous history of the land while recognizing that therapy often begins during a crossing place in life - a season of change, uncertainty, growth, and new beginnings.
For many people, those transitions happen during the teenage years and early adulthood.
Starting high school. Graduating. Beginning college or university. Entering the workforce. Moving away from home. Building new relationships. Learning who you are.
These milestones can be exciting, but they can also bring overwhelming anxiety, self-doubt, loneliness, and pressure to have everything figured out.
At this location, you can receive therapy from our Co-Director and Clinical Coordinator, Hailey Dale, MSW, RSW, Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, as well as Natasha Piersma, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifiying).
