Hailey Dale

MSW, RSW, Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
Co-Director | Clinical Coordinator

I’m a therapist who’s passionate about supporting kids, teens, and families through the messy, emotional parts of life. Right now, I’m on leave from client work, but I’m still involved in the clinic behind the scenes—helping with coordination, support, and big-picture care.

I’ve spent years working with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma and PTSD, self-harm, peer relationships, and family stress—and I’ve always believed in showing up with equal parts empathy and practicality. I’m a big believer in strategies that actually work in the real world, not just in a therapy office.

In sessions, I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, but more than anything, I focus on creating a space where young people feel heard—really heard.

When I’m not working (or running things quietly behind the scenes), you can usually find me:

Crafting or making something with my hands

Taking long walks with Ghost and Mia, our giant Great Pyrenees

Baking something sweet

Recharging in nature or hanging out with my husband, Jesse (yes, the other half of Dawn Therapy)

Even though I’m not currently on leave from taking clients, I still care deeply about this work - and about the families who walk through our (virtual and real-life) doors. Dawn Therapy exists because we believe in offering support that’s grounded, compassionate, and real. I’m proud to help make that happen, even from the background.
